If you are reading this review, your search is over! We toured one of their homes, and we could see the quality of their work was outstanding. The design process was interactive and very collaborative, resulting in a home which fits our needs perfectly. Working with Benton and Jake, you will find them consultative, respectful, responsive, knowledgeable, professional yet down-to-earth . . . the positives continue on and on. Our feasibility and design phase was during the ramp up of the pandemic, and construction kicked-off during the start of supply chain shortages. Through all of it, Benton and Jake worked to stay one step ahead, on time, on budget . . . with excellent communication so that we were always informed and a part of the process. Truly partners throughout the project. The same can be said for the suppliers and skilled trades who worked with Benton and Jake from start to finish. We literally thank God for leading us to Frey Homes.

Tyler and I were fortunate enough to purchase a Frey Home in October 2016. It was a quick purchase as the moment we walked through the home we fell in love with the design, layout and staging and wanted to move in as soon as possible. As two young working parents we thrive on convenience and things that make our life easier. The wide open kitchen allows us to cook a family dinner and interact with our kids and their friends while they do their homework, "build a fort" or play with their toys while we make dinner. The many cabinets and easy to reach drawers make it easier to have our two children, ages 5 1/2 and 2 1/2, help put the dishes away from the dishwasher. They can easily grab their own cups and fill at the fridge...life is just better in our Frey home. Even hosting friends, the open floor plan allows for great conversation all around one of our favorites...food and drinks! I love the laundry close to the master suite and the kids' room on the opposite of the master for a number of reasons. We sometimes wake up early in the mornings to work out and don't want to wake our kiddos...or stay up later and don't want to disturb them. The spread out layout was just what we were looking for and needed for our family dynamic. The huge .50 acre lot is not overwhelming, but such an upgrade for us. We don't have time to manage a yard any bigger, but this gives us plenty of space for backyard games, bonfires and kids activities. Being close enough to 380 makes getting to downtown Cedar Rapids a quick 10 min run, or a 40 min drive to Cedar Falls. We love Hiawatha and our Frey Home.
